This is What It’s Like to Go $0 to $7,500 on eBay in 7 Days

It’s about a month after schools have closed in my area. It’s a full fledged pandemic and the entire world is seeing the impact.

For me, I’m grateful that my family and I are healthy but my little digital publishing business is slowly dying.

Why?

Well, publishers are decreasing their staff, advertisers are paying less, traffic is decreasing in the niches that I write for and businesses are closing down. I saw my income drop by 50% and I wanted to pivot.

What could I do?

Ebay!

I have been on Ebay and an Ebay seller off and on for around a decade or so. I tend to hit up the platform every holiday season selling around $400 to $500 in goods from around the house for some quick holiday cash.

At one time I was selling more regularly on Ebay but I shifted gears and went toward a private storefront (Shopify), which helped me grow my business (back then) to five figures per month in a few years.

So, here I am, staring at Ebay.

I decided to go for it!
