My student made over $30,000 website flipping!
Last summer, I talked about my student making over $20K website flipping. When I checked in on her progress recently, I see that she’s now surpassed over $30K website flipping on Flippa!
So amazing!
If you’ve been on the fence, thinking about whether or not to try website flipping, consider this a sign!
What’s website flipping?
Flipping is about selling an asset for a higher price than what you acquired it for. It exists in retail and other industries.
For example, in real estate flipping, you might buy a house for $100K, renovate it for $20K and sell it for $200K, earning a profit of $80K (before any fees).
With websites, it works the same way. You can buy or build a site, invest your time, energy, and money into it then, flip it for a profit.
For example, I can invest $50 into building a site and sell it for $500, netting $450 (before fees).
Website flipping is a high-income skill and once you know how to do it, you can rinse and repeat the process to make money over the short term and long-term.
Consider netting $450 on a site, for example.
Or, $900 on two sites or, $2,250 on 5 sites!
You can keep going from here.
How does website flipping work?
You start by building a site OR buying a site.
I go the build route because it’s cheaper and I enjoy the website build process. It takes a small budget of usually under $50 to start (this covers the cost of web hosting and domain).
Then, you can monetize it, drive traffic to it, add content, or do none of that and still sell it for a profit as an empty site, believe it or not!
I’ve done both!
