This is so frustrating.

I have read stories from other moms that experience the same.

Your partner thinks because you’re home that you’re a stay-at-home mom.

No!

And this perception that a mom that’s at home is automatically a stay-at-home mom isn’t just shared by partners. Family members and friends can have this thinking as well.

How do you know if your loved ones think of you as a stay-at-home instead of work-at-home mom?

They ask you to interrupt your work day…

  • ”Honey, can you pick up my dry cleaning this afternoon since you’re home?” — from your partner
  • “Can you make me breakfast since you’re home?” — from your partner
  • “Would you be able to pick up Chrissy from school, I can’t get away?” — from a friend

These were some of the things I personally experienced when I first transitioned to working from home as an entrepreneur.

Yes, it’s true that my schedule is flexible.

I can take a three hour break everyday if I want to and I can break in the morning, afternoon, or late afternoon to get my nails done, go to a doctor’s…
