If I had to return to the workforce as a 9-to-5'er I don't think I'd have a big issue (hope not). I'd just fill in my business on my resume for the time after I quit my job. Before going full time as an entrepreneur I worked for a decade in banking/finance and I have a few degrees under my belt. I think it's all about how you frame your resume. If I was having some trouble getting interviews, I'd probably turn to a professional (resume writing service) to tweak my resume for me or work with a head hunter.
