I Tried Snapchat Spotlight for 90 Days

I started hearing about Snapchat Spotlight a few months before I started making videos for it. I really kick myself that I didn’t start when I first learned of the opportunity but, oh well.
What is Snapchat Spotlight?
Snapchat Spotlight was a new Snapchat feature that mimicked Tik Tok’s short form video. Have you noticed a lot of the social media platforms coming up with short form video options? YouTube, Facebook, etc.
Snapchat went in on it too and to make a big splash, they put aside $1 million dollars per day to pay creators that got the top Snapchat videos of the day.
How did you make money?
All you had to do is register your free Snapchat account, if you didn’t already have a Snapchat account and then when you made videos, save it to Spotlight.
Spotlight was like Tik Tok’s For You page.
When users would browse Spotlight, they could discover the most popular, trending short form videos that Snapchat creators made.
It was incredibly easy to use this feature.
For me, while I did have a Snapchat account for a while, I never really clicked for me.
