I stopped writing blog posts and this happened..

It’s been an extended break, to say the least.

I contribute less on Medium and I write way less on my personal blog. I have over 400 blog posts and for a while, I was updating most of them pretty regularly.

But recently, I stopped everything.

Cold turkey.

Here’s what happened..

If you stop writing blogs, what happens?

I checked Semrush the other day and my keyword rankings changed a lot, sadly.

My income dropped slightly but, not as bad as I would’ve thought, considering.

Traffic is still about the same. That’s because most of my traffic is from Pinterest now.

Since Google started playing games with me and other publishers with their algorithm changes so frequently throughout the year now, I changed traffic sources.

Google Destroyed My Content Business

With Pinterest, I spent a minimal amount of time on the platform and still get thousands of views for my blog posts!
