I am so excited to have published my 500th story here on Medium, recently. I think it’s a really awesome milestone and such a jump from when I started taking my writing on this platform seriously again, last year.

7 Things Learned from Being a Medium Creator

Here are some quick things about me you might not know, in the 6 years I’ve been on Medium.

• I stayed at 50–100ish followers on the platform for years, due to inconsistent publishing
• When I started taking my writing more seriously and publishing on a schedule, my performance, following, and income skyrocketed
• Today, I regularly earn what would be considered a full-time income in many areas (here on Medium)
• I publish around 20 to 40 articles per month on Medium
• I also blog at Millennial Nextdoor and,
• I’m an entrepreneur full-time (I don’t work a 9-to-5 job)

As soon as I started writing on Medium like it was my full-time job, some amazing things happened…
