This is what I do. I create content. I write, I’m on social media, I teach, and I’m lucky enough to make a nice living doing what I do.

It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.

When I was growing up, people ask, “What do you want to do when you grow up?”

I had no idea.

Finding out I was a creative

In one of my earliest memories, I remember wanting to be a CEO. Because I wanted to be the boss.

As I got older, I started to realize I was a creative.

I loved drawing, writing, taking photos, and designing. I fell in love with art so much I wanted to become an artist. But, my mom told me I’d be broke doing that.

Then, I wanted to be a fashion model.

I’m six feet tall, East African and Egyptian descent, and my mom was a model.

Modeling itself wasn’t incredibly exciting in my eyes but the freedom, independence, travel and the money was the draw for me. I wasn’t ever super serious about modeling so I never pursued it.
