Hi Sylvia, good question. Yes, when you buy a domain from a domain provider, you will use a login/password. But, when you transfer the domain, you’re not transferring your domain provider account, just the domain. So, if you use Godaddy to buy the domain, you don’t transfer your Godaddy account, just the domain specifically. Hope that makes sense.
