Hi Nina, the biggest thing was consistency. When I started writing on a regular basis, I saw growth happen. I treat Medium like a business and really take my time perfecting my craft. I try to write for my audience, interact with readers, respond to editors that comment on my stories, etc. Hope this helps :)
