Why I quit and what’s next

It’s all completely different than the writing landscape and industry just a few years ago.

I feel like certain subniches within writing are just super difficult to get work for, unless you already have a network.

For me, as a content writer of over a decade, I’ve always been more of a lone wolf. And, sadly, didn’t value networking until recently.

So, it’s been very challenging for me to personally get writing work.

Which is why…

I quit!

Is quitting the answer?

For me it is.

The difficulty in finding clients coupled with how hot and cold freelance writing is, in general, makes this just not for me anymore.

Ahead of this, I pivoted and added a new income stream which has made over over $70K.

It replaced freelance writing for me and is a heck of a lot less stressful and more flexible.
