Anastasia Blogger is really good on YouTube, if you've seen her. I would start by creating 5-10 pin boards and writing descriptions for each of them. Make sure your profile is filled out and then start creating pins and publishing them. Make sure you use all the features within the pin, if you can (alt text, tags, etc.).
