As this year comes to a close, I like to reflect on what I’ve experienced and what I’ve learned so that I can do better next year and in the future.

Here are 7 lessons I learned about being a content creator…

1. Carpe Diem

Seize the day.

There’s no better time than now. If you’re curious about starting something new, whether it’s taking french lessons, opening a room in your home up to an AirBNB rental or starting a new business, start now.

Trust me, there’s no best time than right now because you never know what tomorrow will look like and the opportunity you have now may not exist in the future.

2. Organization is a pillar to success

Being organized is helpful in life and in business.

As a creator, being organized has helped me stay on track and meet important deadlines while I was juggling 15 different projects.

How do you get organized?

For me, using a calendar and other tools helps to keep me stay on track.

Using a simple day planner is something I use every year.
